Project Description

The Enoch Cree Nation Village Core Water & Wastewater Systems Upgrade included condition assessment of existing infrastructure and planning for the needs of servicing future development. The existing infrastructure was aging with some areas being installed in 1950’s with materials not typically used in current construction.

Subconsultants during design included Sii360 for CCTV, Pals Geomatics for survey, and Thurber Engineering for geotechnical services. In 2025 Pidherney’s completed the short-term upgrades. The upgrades included 1,150 m of sanitary sewer replacement, 850 m of cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) lining, 925 m of watermain replacement and 25 replaced water and sanitary service connections.

The project received an Award of Merit at the Consulting Engineers of Alberta Showcase Awards in 2026.
